Professor Xiabi LIU received the Bachelor's degree in computer application from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei, China, in 1998, and the PhD degree in computer science from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he was a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. From 2008 to 2021, he was an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. Since 2021, he has been a Professor at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. He founds and leads the Machine Learning and Multimedia Retrieval lab, Beijing Institute of Technology. He was the Principal Investigator of several research grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Education in China. He is the author or coauthor of three books and more than 70 papers. He holds more than 10 patents. His research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition, computer vision, and medical image processing.

劉峽壁，教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才，智能信息技術(shù)北京市重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室副主任，北京勵(lì)耘大數(shù)據(jù)與人工智能研究院院長(zhǎng)，中國(guó)醫(yī)學(xué)裝備協(xié)會(huì)理事，中國(guó)人工智能學(xué)會(huì)中小學(xué)工作委員會(huì)委員，北京科技教育促進(jìn)會(huì)理事。長(zhǎng)期從事人工智能的教學(xué)與研究，主要科學(xué)研究興趣包括機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)、計(jì)算機(jī)視覺(jué)、模式識(shí)別、醫(yī)學(xué)人工智能、智慧教育。已出版人工智能教材2部、專(zhuān)著1部，發(fā)表高水平學(xué)術(shù)論文70余篇，主持國(guó)家及省部級(jí)科研項(xiàng)目10余項(xiàng)、教改項(xiàng)目3項(xiàng)，獲得國(guó)家發(fā)明專(zhuān)利10余項(xiàng)，獲得兵器科學(xué)技術(shù)二等獎(jiǎng)、兵工高校優(yōu)秀教材二等獎(jiǎng)等獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
